About

Endless Joy

Released in January 2022, this collection of songs is the culmination of many years of songwriting.

One of the (few) benefits of Covid-19 was that life was forced to become more stripped back and simple in early 2020. This created some space and time to birth new songs reflecting on this season, and to work on some recordings. Working in collaboration with the excellent Matt Osgood (worshipsongrecording.com) I was able to produce 13 songs.

They are all songs that point away from ourselves towards a God who knows us, loves us and is in control.

'Up Up Up' was written with my children [who feature on the recording] and is hopefully very accessible to those of all ages.

'Jesus Is King' is in 5 languages, co-written by friends of mind from other nations.

'When The Night Is Closing In' seeks to engage with the reality for many of depression.

'Coming To Your Table' is themed on the Lord's Supper (Communion/Eucharist)

'Our Father In Heaven' is the Lord's prayer put to song.

Endless Joy’ is an uplifting declaration of the joy we can have in knowing there’s life beyond the grave and in the knowledge we are secure in Jesus.

‘Will We Be Good News’ challenges us to consider whether, in response to all the injustices and brokenness in our world, will we be good news?

All of them focus upon Jesus, and are hopefully accessible to and useable by groups and individuals alike.
