Meet Mark
I am a singer-songwriter,
multi-instrumentalist and worship leader, based in Sheffield, UK.
I wrote my first song with my dad when I was 6 years old and have been writing songs ever since. Some have been sung in various settings, and in countries as diverse as India, Oman and Canada.
I enjoy co-writing songs, sometimes in different languages, honouring the diversity of God's creation and the wonderful friends from different parts of the world I get the privilege to do life with. I also love seeing others grow as worshippers and in their gifting as songwriters.
I’m a social worker and magistrate. These experiences have informed some of my songs as I seek to facilitate all ages to worship Jesus, empower them to follow Him wholeheartedly, and encourage fresh hope, joy and faith to rise in all circumstances.
I am married to the wonderful Beth and have three young children.
I’m not a big fan of DIY and I dislike smelly cheese.
